But this quaint little town has a lot more to offer than shoes, oh yes they do! A little birdie told me that there's a nice & modest restaurant that has dishes that can be compared to expensive restos in Manila. It's name? Arabela Restaurant.
So, off we go to Liliw, Laguna to discover & experience the food that Arabela has to offer. Actually, what got my attention was when that little birdie told me that this place offers spa water, I mean common, if this place gives attention to the simple water that a restaurant serves then what more of their food.
Stepping inside the resto would make you feel nostalgic, it has a mixture of old school & modern rustic sense to it, from the colored stained glass lamps, old menu wall frames & paintings up to the tables and wooden chairs. The only hitch about this place is that if you're a bit taller, you'll be bowing your head especially going to their comfort room since their ceiling is tad low. Also, the dining area is also small so roaming around the area is quite difficult especially if the place is jam-packed with hungry customers. But when it comes to food, you'll gonna love it here!
Anyway, let's discuss the food. Arabela's menu list includes a mouth-watering line-up of dishes to suit your gastronomic cravings. To give you a glimpse on some of their dishes here's what we ordered:

Anyway, after a very filling meal we went to the line of footwear stores in Gat Tayaw Street just to check out the shoes, sandals and slippers that they offer. But during our stroll, I couldn't stop thinking, when will I go back to this resto to try out their other sumptuous offers...
Therefore, if you happen to come by this area, I encourage you to try out this place. Good food, reasonable prices. Can't get anything better than that!

Just a bit of an info:
1. They're CLOSED DURING MONDAYS, well except during Holidays. This place can usually get a handful of customers so, I'd advise that you call them for a reservation just to make sure especially when you're far from this area. Because the first time we visited this place it was closed since it's a Monday. Learned from experience.
2. When visiting this place and you're coming from a distant area, I'd advise that you take a very light breakfast so that you could enjoy more dishes.
